Brad Fanshaw

President

Marketing and promotions is a passion for Brad Fanshaw who oversees the operations of Bonneville Worldwide, Inc., the umbrella for a group of diverse companies. Bonneville Worldwide, Inc. designs, manufactures, distributes and licenses products including; Bonneville Swiss Watches, bonspeed Sport Watches, bonspeed Apparel, bonspeed Forged Alloy Wheels and maintains two service entities, a direct mail division and bonspeedMedia.

It is the bonspeedMedia division that allows our creative and marketing teams to offer targeted consultation for a variety of other outside companies.  However, it is the knowledge gained from marketing and promoting our own brands as well as our proven successes that attract our clients.

Fanshaw has been actively involved on both the sales side and sponsor side of event marketing and sponsorship for 25 years.  bonspeedMedia is unique in the sponsorship marketing business because the company can straddle both sides of the fence. The bonspeedMedia team has experience in all aspects of marketing and promotions.  It realizes that structuring an event or sponsorship needs to be tailored to the involved  parties.

bonspeedMedia consults corporations and represents properties in the world of luxury, motorsports and action sports.  A list of notable clients include; Ford, GM, Jaguar, Saleen Performance, BMW, American Bicycle Association, Barrett-Jackson, Michelin, Sony, Tommy Bahama and Petersen Automotive Museum.

Prior to forming Bonneville/bonspeed in 1996, he focused on the automotive aftermarket where his enjoyment of motorsports and car customizing was the focus.  With his aggressive promotional knowledge and marketing abilities, Fanshaw concentrated on the emerging hot rod and custom wheel industry. He joined Boyd Coddington, then a little known hot rod builder, and together they revolutionized the industry.

The newly formed alliance/partnership took full advantage of the raw talent and creative abilities of the company.  Fanshaw successfully cultivated the hot rod and chopper industry from cottage industry to corporate success.  Along the way, he created what is todays rock-n-roll automotive lifestyle as seen on television.

Always the man-behind-the scene, Fanshaw helped grow social motorsports from a participant-based activity to a televised spectacular.  His innovative ideas also helped his then partner Coddington and employees Chip Foose and Jesse James achieve TV fame. This promotion and marketing paid dividends, as Fanshaw grew the company from $500,000 annually to $35 million in just five (5) years and was able to structure a successful Initial Public Offering as President and C.E.O.

Many of the concepts and ideas that were implemented at Boyds were honed while he was a member of the executive management of Vision Sports, Inc.  Fanshaw’s progressive programs of sponsorship, television production, event production, music associations, product placement and sponsorship took Vision from $10 million to $120 million in sales in just five years!  These programs, television formats and events are now action sport touchstones.

It was BMX, the original action sport where Fanshaw’s career began, as Vice President of ABA (American Bicycle Association).  At ABA BMX he structured new promotions, sponsorships and race programs; laying the foundation for what is now one of the popular extreme sports.
